The new Skoda Octavia was unveiled earlier this week in the Czech brand's museum at its home in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Car Design News was in attendance to check out the third generation of what the company calls ‘the heart of Skoda'. With the Tokyo motor show now firmly in our rear view mirrors, Honda has made us aware of a new addition to its website that highlights the numerous concepts the Japanese company had on show at the exhibition. Answering the question: ‘ What makes people feel good?' Honda designers take us through each of the seven concepts showcased at the Tokyo show, including the RC-E electric motorcycle; E-Canopy three-wheeled scooter; MotorCompo folding scooter; TownWalker mobility vehicle; AC-X show car; Micro Commuter Concept and the EV-Ster electric roadster. Nissan are recalling a number of Qashqai, Qashqai+2 and NV200 vans in the UK after the steering wheel fell of a Qashqai in Finland. As problems with cars go, having the steering wheel fall off in your hands is not one you need to be a mechanic to diagnose. That’s exactly what happened to a Nissan Qashqai driver in Finland who found his steering wheel had parted company with the steering column when he was parking his car.
